Kate Douglas is an Australian artist painting highly detailed reproductions of how she sees the world. She is known for her labour intensive artworks with unique compositions and viewpoints. Intimate glimpses of nature and reminders of bygone days are recurring subjects, reflecting her focus on environment and preservation.

Kate Douglas' solo exhibition, Remnants of the Past is now showing at Logan Art Gallery (1st December 2023 until 20th January 2024) and will be touring to Redcliffe Art Gallery in February 2024.  Kate was a finalist in the 2022 John Leslie Art Prize and has exhibited throughout Australia at venues including the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts, Ipswich Art Gallery and Gippsland Art Gallery.  Her artwork features in several public collections including Queensland Health and Ipswich Art Gallery.
